Very soon the Government is moving to the new Covid Protection Framework that uses a Traffic Light system. As such, for gyms to remain open under a 'RED' or 'ORANGE' light, then vaccination certificates will be required of all Gym Members.
At this time, I would like to advise our valued members of my intention to make our Gym a VACCINATION ONLY facility to ensure that we can remain OPEN at all stages of the new framework.
This will come into effect once Hawke's Bay moves to the Traffic Light system.
Gym members will then need to show their vaccination status to continue coming to the gym.
I appreciate that not all of our gym members are vaccinated and will be disappointed with this decision. However, I have carefully considered the impact continued lockdowns would have not only on our members, but also my staff and the business, as well as how best to ensure that all who enjoy using the gym can continue to do so safely if we were to move to a 'RED' or 'ORANGE' light.
The requirements for Aquatic and our other recreational facilities have yet to be confirmed and are expected to be released by the end of November.
